![]() ![]() Never had one before, so dont want to spend a fortune, but happy to spend a little extra if it makes sense to me. I think I saw some in our local store still for sale. If your Target has sales you can get them for around 50, and theyre around 100 full price. Normally I am a bit wary of the cheaper brands but I have to say this one has been a great purchase for what I think was only around 30. Wife purchased one of these just before Christmas and uses it at least twice a week and no problems. Next time Ill be a little more insistent about the decision to purchase. I guess its not getting hot enough to modify the starch, but even the celery was still fairly crunchy. Weve used it twice, and twice its gone nowhere near cooking the veges, particularly the spuds. Its actually mums, and naturally, being the cheapest by a long margin and a generic brand I was a bit wary. We had one simply stop working out of warranty, so just bought a new one, at 25 didnt break the band. Im guessing its faulty but cant really be bothered trying a replacement of the same brand.ĭoes anyone have recommendations of brands they find work well, or some pointers toward what Im doing wrong and things i might try Thanks.ĭid your power go out If not, take it back for a replacement. Its been on for 14 HOURS (9 high, 5 low) and the raw veges arent anywhere near cooked. ![]()
